Another unfathomable tragedy which is a result of the Oct. 7. massacre, Elad Basis, a 35-year-old policeman from the Sderot police station who fought heroically during the events of October 7th, took his own life in Ashkelon on Sunday. Elad, who was among the first responders to face the deadly terrorist attack, was considered one of the officers who displayed extraordinary courage while protecting the lives of many civilians.
